Dean has more than 26 years experience serving technology companies, and leads the New York Metro Technology, Info/Comm and Entertainment & Media (TICE) tax practice. Dean has extensive experience managing global tax engagements for large, complex multinational clients, and also served numerous rapidly growing technology start-ups. Dean is knowledgeable in all aspects of federal, state and international taxation. He has assisted numerous companies regarding tax aspects of IPOs, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, intellectual property management and entry in foreign markets. Dean also has extensive experience in compensation planning and individual tax planning including estate and gift tax planning. Dean is a CPA and member of the American Institute of CPAs and New York State Society of CPAs. He earned his BS in Accounting from Binghamton University and has an MS in Taxation from Long Island University, both with honors.
